Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that binds the growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Its interest in the literature is selectivity: earlier secretagogues raise cortisol and prolactin alongside growth hormone, and published animal work reports that Ipamorelin does not to the same degree.
