1. What we collect
- Contact and delivery details: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address.
- Order history and anything you write to us in a message, review or support conversation.
- Payment metadata only: card brand, last four digits, and the result of the authorisation. Never a full card number or security code.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you arrived.
- Age confirmation: the fact that you confirmed you are 21 or older.
2. What we use it for
- Taking, fulfilling, shipping and supporting your order.
- Fraud prevention and verifying eligibility to buy.
- Replying to you, and sending certificates of analysis when you ask.
- Meeting tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
- Marketing, only where you asked for it and only until you tell us to stop.
3. What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not share your identity or order contents with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not publish anything that identifies you.
4. Card data
Card details are entered into fields hosted by a PCI-compliant tokenisation vendor and go directly to them. They never touch our servers, our database or our logs. We receive a token that can be charged, plus the brand and last four digits so you can recognise the card. This keeps us out of scope for handling card data, which is the point: information we never hold cannot be taken from us.
5. Text messages
If you give us a phone number for stock alerts or order updates, we store the number, the exact consent wording you were shown, and when you agreed to it. We keep the wording itself rather than a reference to it, so that if the disclosure is ever reworded your record still shows what you actually agreed to.
You will only receive messages of the type you signed up for. Agreeing to stock alerts for a compound does not enrol you in marketing. Reply STOP to any message to stop all of them; reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply and frequency varies. Consent is never a condition of purchase, and we do not sell or share phone numbers with anyone for their own marketing.
6. Who we share it with
Only the companies needed to complete your order, and only with what they need: our payment processor and tokenisation vendor, our fulfilment and shipping partners and their carriers, our email and SMS providers, and our hosting and database providers. Each is bound to use the data only to provide that service.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to keep your bag, keep you signed in, and understand which pages people use. Analytics are recorded against an anonymous identifier rather than your name. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of checkout will stop working if you do.
8. Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 21 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and held in access-controlled systems. Administrative access is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, which is the reason we designed the payment path so the most sensitive data never arrives here in the first place.
10. How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregated and old raw records are deleted on a rolling basis.
11. Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, and opt out of marketing at any time. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under the CCPA. Email info@purechainpeps.com and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
